DELERIUM, Conjure One

I want to dedicate this special topic to two very special music groups that I have little words to describe my noble sentiments for. These are Delerium and the newer label Conjure One which is a creation of one of the people involved in Delerium Project - Rhys Fulber.

What is so special about these two music projects?

Simply said this music is closest to what we may call the ‘rhythm divine’!

It’s that their style is unique in its godlike melodiousness, rich variations and gorgeous vocals.

You can hear a selection of among the finest female vocals of our time together with delightfully original musical fragments that make almost every song a masterpiece of its own beauty. So imagine listening them one after another, wow.. ;)

My personal favorites from Delerium’s discography are Karma, Poem, Chimera and the latest Nuages du Monde. Hope there is more to come soon.

About Conjure One I recommend to listen to both albums Conjure One and Extraordinary Ways, they are really extraordinary.

You can get lots of information from their official and fan sites as well as Wikipedia:

First of all, thank you for sharing their music, in all senses of the word. ;)

Speaking about words, the first one that pops up in my mind when listening to their albums is "fresh". It is very relaxing music that could free your spirit. Delerium managed to integrate intersting ethno motives along with electronic sound while Conjure One, I think, is one step further developing modern sound.

This is really one of the best music experiences I have ever had.
Add to these two creations at least another one by these geniuses - Synæsthesia
I like the definition, too ;-)

Synesthesia (also, synaesthesia) is a perceptual experience in which a stimulus in one modality gives rise to an experience in different sensory modality.

We've got a new album from Delerium not from long ago called Fauxliage. All songs are performed by Leigh Nash and those who know her from her band Sixpence None the Richer know her singing style well.

Those who listen to it - enjoy!

P.S. I am still waiting for some new Conjure One experience ...

Enigmatic Sounds

Postby triers on Thu Jan 15, 2009 3:18 am

Yes, we are still waiting for an album from DELERIUM and Conjure One, but let me share what I am listening now..

In fact I think it all began with one very old and famous band:

ENIGMA

This is the first musical love I had long time ago and they never let me down, even after 18 years I listen their albums - old and new.

And what I found for fans of Enigma is that they have one related group (cousin or nephew :) ), it is called:

Achillea by Jens Gad

and as being previously the co-producer for the musical project Enigma, and currently releasing albums under the name Jens Gad Presents, for his new instrumental work, and under the name Achillea, his new world-influenced music featuring different female vocalists on each album, singing in different languages.

This is something that would fit many of the Enigma Fans' Tastes!

Achillea, his new world-influenced music featuring different female vocalists on each album, singing in different languages

Find and enjoy those sounds ;)

Another old and unforgettable musical love of mine..

Global Communication

And as they correctly say:

76:14 is one of the most acclaimed albums from the ambient music genre and from 1990s electronic music in general.

They made amazing tracks that make me on the mood still today :ugeek:

If you find their albums.. Enjoy :!:
